About

I'm Sean Dugan. I come from a family of farmers, and I married into a family whose family maxim is "Growing Trees Forever." I started studying fruit tree care while interning at UC Santa Cruz's renowned sustainable agriculture program. After college, I focused my professional landscaping business on orchard care and edible landscape installations. My path took me to pursue formal education in acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine, and most days I help people by tending the gardens of mind and body as an acupuncturist and herbalist at Chinese Medicine of Idaho in Boise.  In my spare time, I spend as much time as I can gardening and working on my own fruit trees. As I was approaching the answer to the question, "how many fruit trees can one fit on a quarter acre urban lot?" (Hint: the answer is at least 20, maybe more) I decided to bring my skills to you to help manifest your fruit tree dreams. I remain convinced that planting trees and food gardens is one of the most potent acts of self-care and positive change in the world.
